I hope you are well… Please find this covering letter and supporting one-page resume in application for the referenced role. For your convenience, I have provided a self-assessment overview with regards to the desirable skills mentioned in the job profile.

I am available to start immediately with right to work as a Canadian in the UK. Following on from this, family-life is important to me and so avoiding the time and expense lost to commuting by employing contemporary, remote working models would be of particular interest – especially given the specific nature of online technology development! That said, I do appreciate the importance of in-person team building and would be happy to visit the office to attend events.

I am seeking a 37.5 hour-week “full-time-equivalent” remuneration package in excess of £55K per annum for my skill level in a permanent position (excluding benefits or share options, which would be of additional interest). An exact figure is negotiable and dependent on specific role responsibilities or personal incentives offered; I would welcome a 4-day work week, for example. Alternatively, I would be happy to consider term-based contract work at £60 per hour, for a minimum of 20 hours per week. I believe in high productivity and high quality, and I wish to maximize my family life as well.
